VNForge Labs ("VNForge Labs", "we", "us" or "our") is a registered technology studio based in India that designs and develops websites, web applications, mobile apps and AI solutions. This Privacy Policy applies to www.vnforgelabs.com and to any information you share with us when you contact us or work with us.

Information you give us

When you fill in our contact or enquiry form, email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we collect the details you choose to share, such as:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your company or organisation name
• The service you are interested in, your estimated budget and your project details
• Any files, links or documents you send us

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we, and the tools we use, may automatically collect:

• Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
• Usage data such as the pages you visit, the time spent on them and how you arrived at our website
• The page from which you submitted a form (to understand which content is useful)

Information from clients

When we build or maintain a website or application for a client, we may access data stored in that project (for example, the client's customer records). We process that data only on the client's instructions and only to deliver the agreed work.

We use your information to:

• Reply to your enquiry and send you a quote or proposal
• Deliver, support and maintain the services you have engaged us for
• Send a confirmation email when you submit an enquiry
• Protect our website and forms from spam, fraud and abuse
• Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
• Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not send marketing newsletters unless you have asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We process personal information on the following grounds, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), and — where applicable to visitors from other regions — the GDPR:

• Consent — when you choose to submit a form or contact us
• Contract — when we need the information to provide services you have requested
• Legitimate interests — such as keeping our website secure and improving our services
• Legal obligation — such as keeping invoices and financial records

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. When you first visit our website, we ask for your choice before any non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the website footer.

• Essential: needed for the website to work securely, including spam protection on our forms and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics, added through Google Site Kit, helps us understand visitor numbers and how pages are used, in aggregate. These cookies are only set if you allow analytics.
• Marketing (optional): if we run advertising, Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tags help us measure which adverts lead to enquiries. These cookies are only set if you allow marketing.
• Third-party booking: if you use our booking calendar, it is provided by Calendly, which may set its own cookies needed to schedule your call. Calendly's own privacy policy applies.

We use Google Consent Mode. When analytics or marketing cookies are declined, Google tags do not store cookies on your device. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

• Website hosting and email providers
• Google (Analytics, Search Console and Workspace tools)
• Payment and accounting providers, when you pay an invoice
• Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, when required

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Some of our service providers may store data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we choose reputable providers that apply appropriate security and data-protection safeguards.

• Enquiries — kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up and refer back to your request, unless you ask us to delete them sooner
• Spam submissions — automatically deleted after 30 days
• Client project and billing records — kept for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting laws (normally up to 8 years)
• Analytics data — kept according to Google Analytics retention settings

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted admin access, spam filtering, regular updates and backups. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities if a data breach affects you, as required by law.

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Ask us to delete your information (unless we must keep it by law)
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
• Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to other websites, including client websites and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please read their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the "Last updated" date shown at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
